Judge rules New York can’t ban federal agents from wearing face coverings

A federal judge ruled on Monday that New York cannot ban federal agents from wearing face coverings or mandate that they display visible identification. The decision prevents the state from enforcing these restrictions against federal personnel.

The ruling follows a similar judicial decision earlier in the year that blocked a comparable law enacted in California.
