July 28: Fewer storms, more heat

World 1 source 1 country 14m ago

A random, passing shower or storm is not completely out of the question for South Florida Tuesday night. Otherwise, clouds linger over Miami-Dade and Broward counties as southwest winds stir. Wednesday will feature a sun/cloud mix and southwest winds, sustained 5 to 10 mph.

A spotty storm or two could “pop” with daytime heating. Indeed, it will be a hot day with highs forecast to reach the mid-90s. The heat index is expected to peak over 105°F.
