Central Electoral Board and the ban on polls

The Junta Central Electoral (JCE) in the Dominican Republic has provisionally lifted its own ban on the publication and dissemination of electoral polls outside of the official legal periods for pre-campaigns and campaigns.

Despite this temporary reversal by the electoral board, the decision has not fully resolved the ongoing debate surrounding the regulation of public opinion polling in the country's political sphere.
