PFI holds joint prayer for five journalists missing in Sunda Strait

Pewarta Foto Indonesia (PFI) and various press organizations across Indonesia have held collective prayer sessions for five journalists and three crew members who lost contact while covering events in the Sunda Strait. The vigils took place in multiple regions, including Surabaya and Aceh, as the media community expresses solidarity regarding the ongoing disappearance.

The events were organized by local chapters of PFI and the Indonesian Television Journalists Association (IJTI) to support the missing individuals and their families. These gatherings reflect a coordinated effort by the national press corps to highlight the risks faced by journalists during field assignments.
