A judge in Guayaquil, Ecuador, has ordered the release of 28 crew members who were detained following the interception of two vessels in the Pacific Ocean. The individuals were among the crews of at least six boats targeted by United States forces over the past two weeks during operations aimed at curbing suspected drug trafficking activities.
