The high fuel prices have triggered legislative urgency, prompting the opposition to temporarily set aside its political confrontations with the executive branch's ministerial cabinet. By removing the legal and procedural blockages tied to the targeted interrogations of nearly the entire cabinet, lawmakers aim to focus legislative attention entirely on economic measures related to the fuel crisis.
