The President of Colombia visited the Argentine troops who are helping with humanitarian efforts after the earthquake.

Following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that resulted in hundreds of fatalities, Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella visited Argentine Armed Forces personnel currently deployed in Colombia to conduct humanitarian assistance operations. The visit took place this past Monday as international relief efforts continue in the affected regions.

Simultaneously, humanitarian aid efforts have been bolstered by private figures, including Colombian-American singer Kali Uchis. Two weeks after the seismic event, Uchis traveled to Pereira, a city where she spent part of her childhood, to distribute aid and visit neighborhoods impacted by the disaster.
