Kalkaji gangrape sparks Delhi-wide park safety audit including presence of Pink Police

Following the gangrape of a 17-year-old girl at Aastha Kunj Park near Kalkaji Mandir, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu has ordered a comprehensive safety audit of all public parks across the city.

Authorities have been directed to implement enhanced security measures, which include improved lighting, increased security personnel, and regular patrolling in public parks. The initiative also involves the deployment of Pink Police to strengthen safety and prevention efforts.
