Kaufland expands Romanian network with second store in Mediaș

Kaufland Romania opened its second hypermarket in the city of Mediaș on Thursday, September 17. The new facility spans over 5,200 square meters, with approximately 2,500 square meters dedicated to retail space. The store is equipped with 14 checkout points, 10 of which are self-service units.

The expansion project resulted in the creation of 75 new jobs in the local area. This opening marks the retailer's continued growth within the Romanian market and its second physical presence in the city.
