Kaylyn Empowers Women with New Single ‘Let Him Guh’

Recording artiste Kaylyn is preparing to showcase another side of her artistry with the release of her empowering new single, Let Him Guh, on August 28. The upcoming track follows the positive reception of Linstead Party, Kaylyn’s contribution to the Hill and Gully rhythm. She credited publicist Ralston Barrett with helping to increase the song’s visibility.

“I just wish I had found my PR, Ralston Barrett, sooner. Nevertheless, I have never received a bad response regarding Linstead Party,” Kaylyn said. One of the most memorable reactions came from her 11-year-old niece, Zamiyah, who proudly tells others about her aunt’s music.

Kaylyn also revealed that established artistes have been playing the song repeatedly. The momentum generated by Linstead Party has led to collaboration requests and an intense promotional run. Kaylyn said she lost count of the interviews she completed during the two weeks she spent in Jamaica.

With Let Him Guh, the singer turns her attention to women who remain in unhealthy relationships and situationships. “The song was inspired by women not knowing their worth. I have seen it happen repeatedly, so Let Him Guh will be there to tell them exactly what to do,” she explained.

Describing the track as groovy and motivational, Kaylyn said its central message is for women to put themselves first and choose partners who recognise their value. “Sometimes we, as women, become too complacent in relationships or situationships that are not good for our mental health,” she said.
