(Facebook pic)PETALING JAYA: A timber factory in Bukit Selambau, Sungai Petani, received a threatening note together with an object resembling a hand grenade this morning.The note and “grenade" were found outside the main entrance of the factory's office building at 10am, Kuala Muda police chief Hanyan Ramlan said.He told Bernama a bomb disposal unit was sent to the scene."The object resembles a hand grenade but was found to be non-functional, meaning it was not a complete device. We are conducting further investigations to determine whether it is made of wood or metal.”He said the area where the object was placed was not covered by closed-circuit television cameras.The note, written in Malay using red ink, essentially demanded that the factory cease operations, he added.
