The Bureau of Meteorology wave buoy in South Australia is scheduled to be redeployed for a third time this week following lightning damage. The equipment has faced significant disruptions, having only been operational for approximately 10 months over a two-year period.
Replacement parts for the damaged buoy have now been secured. Once redeployed, the device is expected to resume transmitting vital wave data.
