The Heritage Flag Parade kicks off the 81st Indonesian Independence Day commemoration in Jakarta.

The Kirab Bendera Pusaka procession has commenced in Jakarta, marking the beginning of the 81st Independence Day anniversary celebrations of the Republic of Indonesia.

The event opened with a display featuring mounted cavalry and a marching band leading the procession of the sacred heirloom flag.
