(AMP) KKR will pay $215 million in an out-of-court settlement for violating antitrust laws in the US

The investment fund KKR has reached an out-of-court settlement with the United States Department of Justice to resolve allegations of antitrust law violations. Under the terms of the agreement, KKR will pay a record fine of 250 million dollars, equivalent to 215 million euros.

The financial penalty allows the investment fund to avoid an ongoing legal process stemming from repeated failures to comply with United States antitrust regulations.
