Kongwa combats child abuse through community partnerships

The Kongwa District Council in Tanzania is developing a coordinated strategy to combat child abuse and Gender-Based Violence (GBV). The initiative aims to strengthen protection for vulnerable groups within the district.

To achieve this, the local government is bringing together various community stakeholders, including government leaders and religious institutions. District Commissioner Almishi Haz is leading the effort to foster community partnerships for enhanced protection.
