Kulans Released Into the Wild in Ile-Balkhash Reserve

A group of kulans has been released into the wild within the Ile-Balkhash State Nature Reserve in Kazakhstan.

The initiative is part of broader ongoing efforts by Kazakhstan to restore the population of the kulan species and successfully return the animals to their historical range.
