The IOM warns that humanitarian aid for Sudan may run out by the end of September

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has issued a warning that its humanitarian aid supplies for Sudan risk exhaustion by the end of September without immediate additional funding. In a statement released on September 14, the UN agency reported that its current reserves of immediate relief items are critically low.

To address this shortfall and sustain operations, the IOM has appealed for 15 million dollars, equivalent to approximately 13 million euros. This funding is urgently required to provide essential humanitarian assistance to more than 300,000 people affected by the ongoing crisis in Sudan.
