On Friday, September 25, the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange closed with a downward trend as the benchmark S&P Merval index of leading companies fell by 1.60 percent to finish at 2,893,750.70 units.

Accompanying the drop in the leading index, the broader S&P BYMA general index also recorded a negative performance, registering a retrocession of 1.65 percent by the end of the trading session.
