Under the title “Designation of magistrates: merit and suitability must prevail,” the organization expressed concern regarding irregularities in judicial competitions and specifically warned against unauthorized modifications to established orders of merit.

The institution emphasized that transparency and professional aptitude are essential requirements for judicial appointments. By questioning the integrity of the selection process, the Colegio aims to ensure that the appointment of magistrates adheres to strict standards of meritocracy rather than external influence or procedural manipulation.
