Millions of liters of wastewater and tons of waste are flowing through the Tijuana River from Mexico into the United States, eventually reaching the Pacific Ocean. This environmental crisis has escalated to the point of becoming a point of contention within the framework of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (T-MEC).
