The Gold Cup will return to the country in 2027

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) has announced that Mexico will host matches for the 2027 Gold Cup. The Mexican Football Federation confirmed the decision, marking the tournament's return to the country after more than two decades.

The selection of Mexico as a host nation follows the positive reception and high attendance levels observed during recent World Cup events held in the country. While official venues have yet to be finalized, it is anticipated that the Estadio Azteca will serve as one of the primary locations for the competition.
