The International Court of Justice has scheduled oral hearings for the territorial disputes involving Guatemala with Belize and Honduras. According to an announcement from the Guatemalan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the dates for the hearings concerning the long-standing dispute with Belize have now been formally set by the international tribunal.

Simultaneously, regional coverage also highlighted domestic fiscal planning in the Dominican Republic, where the government presented a projected National General Budget for 2027 amounting to 2.037 trillion pesos. This proposed budget, reviewed by the Council of Ministers under the leadership of President Luis Abinader, is calculated to represent approximately 21.2 percent of the country's Gross Domestic Product.
