Ecuador's economy grew by 2% in the first half of 2026, according to the Central Bank

The Central Bank of Ecuador announced that the country's economy experienced a cumulative growth of 2.0% during the first half of 2026, comparing the period from January to June against the same timeframe in 2025.

This economic expansion occurred despite contractions within both the agricultural and petroleum sectors during the same operational period, according to the official figures released on Saturday.
