Brazilian group Natura loses $80 million in the first half of the year

Brazilian cosmetics and personal care multinational Natura reported a net loss of 410 million reals, equivalent to approximately 80 million dollars, during the first half of the year. This financial result represents a sharp downturn compared to the same period in the previous year, when the company recorded a net profit of 44 million reals.

In a separate corporate development within Brazil's major industrial sector, meat processing giant JBS also reported a significant contraction in profitability for the first half of 2026. JBS posted a net income of 118 million dollars, marking an 88 percent decrease compared to the figures from the prior year.
