Inflation in July was 2.1%, accumulating 33.8% over the last twelve months.

In July 2026, Argentina recorded a monthly inflation rate of 2.1%, bringing the year-to-date increase to 19.3% and the total twelve-month accumulation to 33.8%, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec).

Separately, the cattle slaughter industry reported a monthly increase of 1.7% in July, totaling 1.095 million head of cattle. Despite this slight monthly recovery, the sector experienced a 12.2% decline compared to the same month in 2025, representing a reduction of approximately 152,400 animals over the year.
