Marlaska asserts that the EU endorses the "extraordinary work" in Ceuta to reverse the "partial security crisis"

Spanish Minister of the Interior Fernando Grande-Marlaska stated that European Union institutions have endorsed the government's response to the security crisis in Ceuta, describing the state's efforts as extraordinary. The minister emphasized that these measures were implemented promptly to address the situation in the autonomous city.

Simultaneously, the Civil Guard conducted operations in Ceuta to dismantle 'casa patera' facilities used to house migrants who entered the country illegally in late July. Authorities arrested the owners of a property where 25 individuals, including six minors, were found living in overcrowded and precarious conditions.
