Half of Cuba is left without electricity after a partial system failure

Approximately 4.5 million people in Cuba, representing nearly half of the country's population, experienced a total loss of electricity on Saturday. The widespread blackout was triggered by a sudden failure within the National Electric System (SEN).

The power outage impacted seven provinces stretching from the western region to the central part of the island. Authorities worked to address the technical malfunction responsible for the partial collapse of the national grid.
