The Irish opposition is urging the government not to play the match against the Israeli national team.

Opposition parties in Ireland have formally requested that the government intervene to prevent the national football team from playing its scheduled UEFA Nations League match against Israel. The game is currently set to take place this Sunday in Hungary.
