Poland's Maja Chwalinska comes from behind to defeat Sonay Kartal and wins her first WTA title

Polish tennis player Maja Chwalinska claimed her first professional WTA title on Sunday by defeating British opponent Sonay Kartal in the final of the WTA 1000 tournament held in Wuhan, China.

After dropping the first set 2-6, Chwalinska mounted a comeback by winning the subsequent sets 6-4 and 6-2 to secure the victory. Kartal had previously caused a surprise in the semifinal round before falling in the final match.
