Ecuadorian police seize 627 kilos of cocaine in container from Peru

On Saturday, August 1, Ecuadorian Interior Minister John Reimberg announced that the National Police seized 627 kilograms of cocaine hidden inside a shipping container.

The intercepted container had originated in Peru and was en route to its final destination in Germany. Authorities detected the illicit cargo at a port in Ecuador.
