Man charged with three offenses for intentionally running over Australian MP Helen Haines

Police in the Australian state of Victoria have charged a man with three offenses, including causing intentional serious injury, following the vehicle-ramming of independent lawmaker Helen Haines. The incident occurred on Monday outside of Haines's electoral office in the city of Wangaratta.
