La RD del Congo aumenta a 2.272 la cifra de muertos y 4.843 los casos confirmados de ébola

The Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (RDC) has raised the death toll from the ongoing Ebola outbreak in the east of the country to 2,272 victims. According to official figures released in Nairobi, confirmed cases have simultaneously increased to 4,843.

The current epidemic was officially declared on May 15. Since its onset, the outbreak has continued to spread and advance, bringing health authorities closer to confronting a critically escalating public health crisis in the eastern region.
