The SEP confirms a national agreement to restrict the use of cell phones in public schools

The Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) in Mexico, through its head Mario Delgado, confirmed a national agreement to restrict the use of mobile phones in public schools. The announcement was made following the Third Extraordinary National Plenary Meeting of the National Council of Educational Authorities (CONAEDU).

The agreement establishes coordinated measures among educational authorities regarding mobile device usage within public educational institutions. The initiative aims to regulate or limit students' access to cellular phones during school hours.
