La tasa de desempleo sigue a la baja en Brasil y cae al 5,3 % en julio

Brazil's unemployment rate continued its downward trend, falling to 5.3 percent of the active population in the quarter ending in July. According to government data released on Thursday, this figure represents a decrease of one-tenth compared to the average reported in June.

Concurrently, official statistics from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) indicated that Mexico's unemployment rate stood at 2.9 percent of the economically active population in July. This figure is slightly higher than the 2.8 percent recorded in the same month of 2025, though it matches the previous 2.9 percent reading.
