La tasa de paro de Colombia repunta una décima en julio al 8,1% y se aleja de los mínimos de mayo y junio

Colombia's unemployment rate ticked up by one tenth in July to reach 8.1%, moving away from the historic lows of 8% recorded in May and June. Despite this monthly increase, the July figure represents a significant improvement compared to the same period in the previous year, standing seven tenths lower.

The slight uptick breaks a brief two-month streak at the 8% floor. However, the broader context remains favorable relative to historical data, with the July rate continuing a downward trend from previous annual comparisons, though still trailing behind the 7% low achieved in November.
