The EU sanctions 10 individuals and 17 entities for the deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia

The European Union has imposed sanctions against ten individuals and 17 entities linked to the forced deportation and transfer of Ukrainian children to Russia and Russian-occupied territories. These measures, adopted this Monday, are part of the bloc's ongoing response to the conflict and the treatment of minors in affected regions.

In a separate development, a court in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona, has opened an investigation into Aitor Navarro, a local Vox councilor. The judicial probe follows a complaint filed by approximately 50 social organizations alleging crimes of hate and disclosure of secrets.
