The Unión Obrera Metalúrgica (UOM) has reached a wage agreement for the metalworking sector, securing a 23.5% salary increase. The deal follows a similar agreement finalized one day earlier for the steel industry branch.

The newly signed contract will remain in effect for an eight-month period, spanning from August 2024 through March 2025.
