Lake Erie walleye are biting — and anglers are limiting out before lunch

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Intemperate weather, from rainstorms to wicked winds, bumpy waters, and steamy temperatures, has hindered the fishing in recent days, but finally the walleye weather is forecast to be cooperative for the weekend and beyond. With milder waves and moderate temperatures on Lake Erie, anglers are expected to fill coolers with walleye all along Ohio’s North Coast.
