Land-grab case: Supeme Court grants interim bail to Abhishek's PA

The Supreme Court has granted a one-week interim bail to Sumit Roy, the personal assistant of Trinamool Congress (TMC) general secretary Abhishek Banerjee. Roy is implicated in the Salboni land-grabbing case.

The case and Roy's subsequent legal proceedings follow the earlier arrest of former TMC MLA Sujoy Hazra in connection with the same land-grab investigation.
