Since its first staging four years ago, Republic Beach Club has grown to become one of the most anticipated events on the summer entertainment calendar. The most recent staging that took place on Emancipation Day, August 1, was held under the theme 'World Cup'. Several patrons dressed in World Cup gears, flocked to Plantation Cove in St Ann, for a day of great vibes and they were not disappointed.

From the musical stylings of DJ Mac and Baba, Kevi The Kinetic, ZJ Spectre, Brush1 and Franco, and Cyclone and DJ Marc Chin of Coppershot and others, patrons were kept busy dancing up a storm to current and past hit songs. ZJ Spectre shared why an event such as Republic Beach Club is not to be missed. “Yow, the people dem come out early and enjoy themselves.

This is one of those parties that as you enter the venue, the feeling is just phenomenal. The energy is just really good and positive,” ZJ Spectre told Observer Online. A patron who identified herself only as 'Chrissy' was attending the event for the first time.

Former Miss Global Jamaica and 1st runner-up at Miss Global, Kerrian Greenwood, strikes a breathtaking pose at Republic Beach Club. “I always wanted to come to this party and so I just decided to gather some of my friends and drive down from Negril just to have fun. I never knew it would have been such a nice party,” she said.

Tyreek Daley was seen dancing with his two female friends. “The atmosphere is absolutely amazing It’s my first time coming to Republic Beach Club and the ladies are absolutely amazing. It’s good vibes all around,” said Daley.

Former Miss Universe Jamaica finalist, model and actress Esther Moore was also seen among those enjoying themselves at the event. “I saw the promotion on Instagram and I decided to come. This is my second time and I love Republic bad,” said Moore.
