Largest Ukrainian drone attack on Russia, Moscow says 822 drones shot down

Ukraine launched hundreds of drones across Russia on Sunday in one of the largest aerial attacks of the war. The massive barrage targeted the Moscow region and other parts of the country, resulting in at least six reported deaths.

According to Moscow officials, Russian air defenses shot down a total of 822 drones during the large-scale assault. In addition to residential and airspace impacts, the strikes hit a Wildberries logistics hub within Russia.

The operation marks a significant escalation in the aerial campaign between Ukraine and Russia, demonstrating a substantial expansion in the scale and volume of drone deployments by Kyiv.
