The containment barriers installed by the Government in Ceuta are now "fully" operational

The Spanish Ministry of the Interior confirmed that maritime containment barriers installed on Saturday, August 1, are now fully operational. The structures are located in the vicinity of the El Tarajal border breakwater in Ceuta.

This deployment, overseen by the department led by Fernando Grande-Marlaska, serves as a measure to secure the border area. The government officially announced the status of these installations through its communication channels on Sunday, August 2.
