Statistics do not capture all situations of risk of violence against women

An international study led by the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) indicates that official police statistics fail to capture the full scope of violence against women. While these records remain a fundamental tool for understanding the issue, researchers found that significant gaps exist in the data, preventing a comprehensive view of the risks women face.
