Goodbye to telephone spam: sales calls to attract customers will start with the 400 prefix from this Saturday

Starting this Saturday, commercial sales calls aimed at acquiring new customers will be required to use telephone numbers beginning with the 400 prefix. The regulatory measure was officially announced by Óscar López, the Minister for Digital Transformation and the Public Service.

The initiative is designed to curb unsolicited telemarketing spam by making commercial calls easily identifiable to recipients before they answer.
