Sales in the services sector accelerated their growth in August to 6%, marking 29 consecutive months of increases.

Data released by the National Statistics Institute (INE) indicates that both the services and industrial sectors in Spain experienced significant growth in August 2025. The services sector saw its turnover increase by 6% compared to the same month in the previous year, marking its 29th consecutive month of growth and an acceleration of 1.3 percentage points over July's figures.

Simultaneously, the industrial sector reported a sharper rise, with turnover climbing 10.8% in August. This performance represents the highest growth rate for the industry since April and a substantial increase of more than six percentage points compared to the growth recorded in July.
