UHT milk replaces pasteurized milk in Santiago schools through Inabie

The National Institute for Student Welfare (Inabie) has initiated the supply of UHT milk to educational centers in Santiago, replacing the previously distributed pasteurized milk. This administrative decision follows the rejection of pasteurized milk by approximately 20 schools.

The schools declined the pasteurized product due to a lack of necessary refrigeration equipment, which is required to guarantee the safety and proper preservation of the milk within the facilities.
