“Leñita” denies accusations in the death of a leader in Los Alcarrizos

Rafael Hernández, a city councilman known as "Leñita," has publicly denied accusations linking him to the murder of community leader José Frank Valerio. Valerio was shot and killed on August 14 in Los Alcarrizos.

Speaking on Tuesday, Hernández asserted that he maintained a close relationship with the victim. He also stated that he expects and hopes the authorities will fully clarify the circumstances surrounding the killing.
