Teachers' pension law: Minister of Education will comply with the law, but it will not be 3,500 soles

Peruvian Minister of Education José Antonio Chang announced that the government will work to comply with the legislation granting retired and laid-off teachers a pension of up to 3,500.70 soles.

However, the minister cautioned that making an immediate and full payment of the maximum amount is financially unfeasible for the government at this time.
