Liberal operative denies he invented pink paper record of agreement with fugitive developer, Icac hears

Liberal operative Jeremy Greenwood has denied allegations that he fabricated a pink or fuchsia-coloured piece of paper intended to serve as a record of an agreement with fugitive developer Jean Nassif. Testifying before an inquiry at the Independent Commission Against Corruption (Icac), Greenwood insisted the handwritten note contained a genuine agreement.

The denial came under pointed questioning from counsel assisting the inquiry, who challenged the credibility of Greenwood's account by stating that the "threads of your story pull apart very quickly."
