Yamil Abreu Navarro released after $350,000 bail

Yamil Abreu Navarro, former municipal director of Las Lagunas in Azua and former leader of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), has been released from prison in the United States following the posting of a $350,000 bail.

Following his release, family members and close associates have announced plans to hold a large reception to celebrate his return from detention in the United States.
